I have been refusing to blog more about Seoul because I keep getting withdrawal symptoms every time I go through my “Kyeopta Korea” album. Here’s a picture diary of some stuff I haven’t uploaded yet:
Commuting.
My sister and I used the subway a lot. They have so many lines, I lost count but it was pretty easy to navigate. One time it was too late and we were stuck in Itaewon after having dinner at a ramen store so we hailed a cab and my sister talked to the cab driver in straight Korean! I was so proud of her. But then we realized that the directions were practically written in english too. lol. Talk about “bobo” moments. Still it was nice seeing the city through a drive instead of being underground most of the time.

SHOP! EAT! REPEAT!
So my sister and I would just hang out and shop and eat usually in Hongdae or Myeongdong.

LOOT
Some of my beauty loot from Korean brands. 1) I love my Baobab mist, we call it the Baobao mist. 2) This Surprise spray on SPF is so convenient too and 3) the etude lip gloss shade is perfect. I’m a fan of dark lipstick and I rarely use pinkish ones. And oh! Facemasks from The Faceshop. They had the Kakaotalk ones, Faceshop is my favourite skincare store so i went a little crazy with their Kakao Talk characters.

I went crazy at the museum store and bought these passport holders and luggage tags. Got one each for the family.

LOTTE WORLD! Of course we had to go to an amusement park. We bought the indoor and outdoor ticket and rode all the crazy rides we could get into.

These icecream bars were so delicious!

I gotta admit, I’m a bit of an adrenaline junkie.

NORYANGJIN FISH MARKET
Before we went to Lotte World, we met up with my sister’s friend and her friends and visited the Noryangjin fish market where we got octopus, sea squirt, and sashimi.
The sea octopus and sea squirt were squirming but they were pretty good.

We all lived in Vancouver at one point or another.
Anyway, that’s it for today. I still have lots of photos so I’ll be sure to upload more of our adventures soon.
